About
Welcome to McDonald's Belmont, a charming spot located at the corner of Lake Road and Bayswater Avenue in New Zealand. Known for its iconic fast-food offerings, this franchise promises a delightful experience, especially for families. The friendly team warmly welcomes patrons, creating an inviting atmosphere for both adults and children alike.
As you step inside, the first thing that captures your attention is the dedicated kids' play area. This feature is a huge plus for parents, allowing them to enjoy their meals while the children have a fun time. The menu includes an array of beloved classics like the Big Mac® and Quarter Pounder®, alongside crispy favorites like Chicken McNuggets®. A standout is the Almighty Texan BBQ Burger priced at NZ$16.80, which packs a flavor punch that burger enthusiasts will appreciate.
Despite these strengths, some aspects of the McDonald's Belmont experience could use a little polishing. The location can get quite busy owing to its smaller size and limited parking. As reported by a recent visitor, signs can be confusing, leading some to mistakenly approach the exit instead of the entrance. Additionally, cleanliness can sometimes be overlooked, with tables not cleared as promptly as one might hope, detracting from the overall dining experience.
Nevertheless, the efficiency of the service stands out during peak times, ensuring that your meal is served hot and fresh. With meals ranging from the Cheeseburger Happy Meal® at NZ$11.10 to the versatile Big Mac Dinner for Two bundle at NZ$35.00, there's something to satisfy every craving.
Overall, while McDonald's Belmont has its quirks, it remains a solid choice for a quick meal, particularly for families. Just remember to manage your expectations regarding parking and cleanliness, and you'll likely find enjoyment in what they offer!
“ Excellent team - Manager was out in the store helping customers and in general best McDonald's experience in a long time. The manager made me feel like a valued customer. ”
“ Best in Auckland with that artistry that comes of confident happy staff who really know how to do a coffee or hot choc. ”
“ This place is just a free for all. There are no rules at all. One time I got a McChicken with no bun, literally just a patty, lettuce and mayonnaise in the box. Another time my burger was cold - not luke warm, but actually cold like it had come out of a fridge. But hey that’s show business baby! ”
“ The young guy working on the drive thru on Monday I have to say gave the best service I have had from any fast food drive thru I've ever been to. Was great to have someone you could understand and was very polite and friendly. ”
“ This McDonald's in Belmont offers a bit of a mixed bag. On the plus side, the crew members were notably friendly, which always makes a difference. A real bonus for parents is the kids' play area, allowing adults a chance to enjoy their meal while the children are occupied. The ordering and serving process was smooth and efficient during my visit. However, there are a few drawbacks. Compared to other McDonald's locations in Auckland, this one is quite small, and consequently, parking is limited. Finding the entrance can also be confusing; the signage isn't very clear, and it's easy to accidentally try entering through the exit if you're not paying close attention. Another area for improvement is table cleanliness. On this occasion, tables weren't cleared promptly after customers left, meaning leftover cups and tissues remained when new customers were looking for a seat. Finally, be aware that exiting the location can be challenging during busy traffic times, potentially adding a bit of delay to your journey. Overall, while the friendly staff, play area, and efficient service are positives, the small size, parking limitations, confusing entry, cleanliness issues, and tricky exit detract from the experience. It's decent for a quick bite, especially if you have kids, but be mindful of the potential inconveniences. ”
“ Went for a drive thru. Excellent fries and burger. Fast service. ”
“ The fries were perfect not to much salt, fresh and krispy, my burgers werent slapped together like majority of macdonalds but put together and not dumped with alot of sauce. Congradulations belmont staff you ACED that plus excellent service. ”
“ Regulation McDonald's store with all the menu items available. The staff are very nice and helpful. The children's play area is large enough and well maintained. Driveway facility is available here. Ample parking is available too, in spite of the premium location. Well recommended. ”
“ The city sleeps, a blanket soft and gray, As I ascend, where ancient giants lay. Rangitoto, a slumbering beast I face, A volcanic crown, a rugged, fiery grace. The path unwinds, a serpentine embrace, Through lava fields, a desolate, stark space. Black shards of rock, a testament to fire, Where molten fury once did fiercely spire. The air is crisp, the wind begins to bite, As I climb higher, bathed in morning light. The city wakes, a tapestry of hues, A vibrant canvas, where the harbor views. Each step a struggle, muscles start to strain, But onward I press, defying wind and rain. The summit nears, the goal within my sight, A sense of triumph, banishing the night. I reach the peak, a breathtaking display, The city sprawls below, a vibrant array. The Hauraki Gulf, a shimmering, sapphire sheen, A panorama vast, a wondrous, awe-inspiring scene. The wind whips past, a symphony of sound, As I stand victorious, on sacred ground. Rangitoto's summit, a crown upon the land, A testament to nature's powerful hand. The descent begins, a weary, slow retreat, But memories linger, bittersweet. The climb, the struggle, the ultimate reward, A connection forged, with nature's accord. So let us climb, these volcanic peaks so grand, And feel the spirit of this wondrous land. For in their shadows, stories softly lie, Of ancient forces, reaching for the sky. ”
